our services

We provide ABA Therapy near Miami, Florida for children with Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and other behavioral conditions that affect development and functioning. Our services are available in-home, at our therapy center, and in the Miami-Dade and Broward County community.

The goals for early intervention are to improve behavior, adaptability, academics, and to increase the quality of life for your child on the spectrum. Our trained behavior analysts will work one-on-one with your child to help build new skills and learn independence.

applied behavior analysis

ABA Therapy is an early, intensive, and sustained intervention emphasizing positive behavior and socialization needed for children with Autism. Our effective Autism Therapy programs are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

autism evaluation

We follow a thorough evaluation process when diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our Autism evaluation provides families with valuable insights into areas such as your child’s language skills, adaptive behaviors, and social behaviors.

social skills

Social Skills are the foundation for a child to adapt to others and have a well-rounded, successful relationship. Social skills are important for a child on the Autism spectrum to have for improved self-concept and esteem. A lack of Social Skills may lead to peer rejection, feelings of isolation, emotional difficulties, and bullying.

behavior support consultation/Parent Training

Parents or caregivers are invited to take advantage of our free consultations to speak about the concerns they have for their child with Autism and to discuss the benefits of parent training. Parents and Caregivers will be taught by an experienced Behavior Analyst and Behavior Assistant.

Neuropsychology Services

Neuropsychological assessments are used to make diagnoses and to provide recommendations for in the home, school and community. They can identify strengths and weaknesses in multiple areas. Evaluation will measure I.Q., attention, memory, and problem solving skills.

Diane Rico is a BCBA and has been working in the field since 2004. In 2010, Diane, received her Master’s in ABA. In 2018 she joined the NWDS team as Clinical Director of Treatment Plans and Authorizations making an impact in the lives of children with Autism and related disabilities.
